Affiliate disclosure

Short, because there is not much to say.

Some links from this site are affiliate links. They point at Amazon and carry a tracking code, and if you buy after following one, this site may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

They are category searches for measuring instruments — a tape measure, a tread depth gauge, a tire pressure gauge, a set of calipers, an inspection light — and they appear only where a page's own sentence names that measurement. The link is shown with the sentence that names it: a tape measure under a sentence about what a tape actually reads on a mounted tire, a pressure gauge beside a sentence about the inflation pressure a load rating depends on.

Nothing on this site is recommended because it pays. Where a page's subject is a physical thing you might buy, or where it explains something that needs a particular tool, we may link to that category of product — and where neither is true, we do not invent a reason to.

There is no link to a tire, a wheel, a spacer, a gearset or a speedometer module anywhere on this site, and there will not be one. Those are parts whose suitability depends on a specific vehicle, and the whole position of this site is that it cannot tell you that from a size code.

A page that names no measuring instrument carries no link, whatever section it is in — most size and comparison pages are pure conversions and carry none. And no page, anywhere, links a part.

What does not change

No page recommends a tire, because this site does not issue fitment verdicts of any kind — the arithmetic on a size page is identical whether or not anyone ever clicks a link from it. There are no sponsored pages and no paid placements.

Advertising, where it appears, is described on the privacy page.
