Why both are hard to find
Because the market sells 33s and 35s. A buyer who wants something between them is a small minority, and manufacturers respond accordingly — both sizes appear in a handful of patterns and neither is a volume product. That scarcity is the main practical obstacle to either, and it is the reason most people in this position end up choosing one of the two round numbers after all.
