Platforms recorded with this size
The third-generation Tacoma and the fifth-generation 4Runner both name 275/70R17 among their common upgrades. No vehicle here ships it.
That is a fair reflection of where the size sits. Its two immediate neighbours on the same wheel are among the most heavily fitted truck sizes in North America, and this one is the step between them that most buyers step straight over.

265/70R17 stands 31.61 in. 285/70R17 stands 32.71 in. This size is 32.16 in — 0.55 in above the first and 0.55 in below the second, to the hundredth.
The symmetry is not a coincidence. All three share a 70 aspect ratio and a 17-inch wheel, so the only variable is the 10 mm between one section width and the next, and 10 mm at 70 aspect is always 0.55 in of diameter. The middle rung of any evenly spaced trio is equidistant by construction.
The percentages are not symmetric, and that is worth watching. Measured from this size, both neighbours are 1.71% away. Measured from 265/70R17, the step up to this one is 1.74%, because the same 0.55 in is being divided by a smaller starting diameter. Quoting a percentage without saying which tire it is measured from leaves that ambiguity in place.

The flotation 32 on this wheel is 32x11.50R17, and this size is within 0.16 in of it — closer to being an honest 32 than 285/70R17 is to being an honest 33. The 32 is also 0.67 in wider, at 11.50 in against 10.83 in, which is the usual direction for a flotation code against the metric size it shadows.
Where the two Toyotas are coming from
Both platforms that list it leave the factory on 265/70R17 among other sizes, so the step is the 0.55 in described above: an indicated 70 mph becomes an actual 71.2 mph and a hundred indicated miles becomes 101.7.
Those are small enough numbers that the change is not really about the instruments. It is 0.28 in of ride height at the axle and 0.39 in of extra section width, which is about as modest as a deliberate tire upgrade gets.
